Terms of use

Ceylon Harvest is the marketplace of record: you pay us, and we pay the grower after delivery or after your experience. Each listing is the grower’s own description; we moderate listings and act on reports, but the grower is responsible for what they sell or host.

• Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees. Other currencies are shown as estimates; a card charge in another currency is fixed at checkout, includes a disclosed conversion margin, and is locked for 30 minutes.
• You can pay by card, LankaQR, bank transfer or — where the grower offers it in Sri Lanka — cash on delivery. These are ways to pay the full amount; we offer no credit, deferred payment or instalments, and charge no interest.
• Bank transfers and LankaQR payments must carry the order reference. Unpaid orders are released after 72 hours.
• Pre-orders on pre-harvest crops reserve a share and are not charged until the grower marks the harvest ready.

• The grower accepts or declines a paid order within 24 hours. If they decline or don’t answer, you are refunded in full automatically.
• You can cancel until the grower accepts, with a full refund.
• From acceptance until 14 days after completion you can open a dispute with photos. The grower has 72 hours to respond; our team then decides and refunds in full or in part where it is due.

• Each experience shows its cancellation policy and the exact refund before you cancel.
• Request-to-book experiences are paid at request; if the host doesn’t confirm within 12 hours, you are refunded in full.
• If a host cancels — including for weather — you get a full refund and priority to re-book.
• The meeting point is revealed once your booking is confirmed.

Reviews must describe a real purchase or visit. Keep conversations and payments on Ceylon Harvest — contact details are hidden until an order or booking is confirmed. Anyone can report a listing, review, storefront or message; we may hide content that breaks these terms.

Growers, hosts and delivery partners agree to separate seller terms when they register, including verification, commission and payout schedules.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of the country where they live.
